Marunela, a spread made of chestnuts and chocolate, was born from the desire to allow gourmets to enjoy this forgotten foodstuff even outside the chestnut season.
A return to tradition and a desire to value it is the guiding principle of the hard-working families Bistre and Vidović from Medveja, who, under the auspices of the wooded slopes of Učka and above one of the most beautiful beaches of the Opatija Riviera, started the production of desserts, spreads, vinegar... They gave a new look to the traditional, healthy and simple, but forgotten foods of their region.
