Lactose free milk with 2,8% milkfat is meant for those with digestive distress. It is made by adding the lactase enzyme which breaks down milk sugar lactose into simple sugars. The product has a sweet flavour and is great combined with cereals for breakfast or a snack, but can also be used for sweet dishes as no extra sugar needs to be added.
LACTOSE FREE MILK
Sterilised, homogenised milk with 2,8% milk fat, no lactose.
Ingredients: 2,8% milk fat milk, lactase. No cooking required.
Unopened can be kept at room temperature. Shake before use.
Average nutritional value per 100 ml/ per serving (200 ml): Energy: 235 kJ (56 kcal)/470 kJ (112 kcal)/5,6%; Fats: 2,8 g / 5,6 g / 8%, of which saturated fatty acids: 1,9 g/3,8 g/19%; Carbohydrates: 4,6 g/ 9,2 g/3,5%, of which sugars: 4,6 g/9,2 g/10%; Protein: 3,2 g/6,4 g/13%; Salt: 0,10 g/0,20 g/3%; Calcium: (15% DV**) 120 mg/240 mg/30%. Lactose: <0,1g/100ml. Salt content is exclusively a result of naturally present sodium. * DV - % recommended daily values for average adult (8400 kJ / 2000 kcal). **PU - % recommended mineral values.
After opening keep refrigerated at maximum +8C and use within 2 – 3 days.
