Hummus or spread made of chickpeas, sesame, garlic, olive oil and lemon juice. Serve it with homemade bread or toast, as a vegetable sauce, or pair it with other various dishes. It is an excellent addition to a healthy diet, good source of iron, magnesium, zinc and B6 vitamins and dietary fibers. Due to its low glycemic index, it is also suitable for the diabetics.
