Cremini mushrooms also known as Baby Portobellos, Crimini, and Baby Bella mushrooms have a mild and earthy taste and a meaty texture. They can be prepared in different ways; slice them raw in a salad, add them to sauces, soups, stews, bake in tarts or chop as a pizza topping. They are great for stuffing and baking as an appetizer. Cremini mushrooms pair well with tomatoes, carrots, celery, potatoes, garlic, onions, ginger, sage, parsley, basil, and meats like beef, pork or poultry, eggs, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, cream sauce, white wine , rice, and cheeses - mozzarella, parmesan and pecorino.
 
They will keep up to a week when stored loosely in a paper bag with moist paper towel wrapped around to prolong freshness in the refrigerator.
