Barley, cooked, spiced and ready to eat, comes from a local Istrian family farm. Barley is a traditional food, extremely healthy and an excellent substitute for rice. Barley can easily be incorporated into various stews and salads. Add it to cooked legumes, leeks, zucchini and mushrooms as a separate dish or in combination with meat. Barley goes well with sauerkraut and beets.
Instructions for consumption: remove the barley from the package and heat in a bowl on the stove with the sauce of your choice or in the microwave and serve with the sauce or side dish of your choice.
