Semi-hard mixed cheese made from cow and sheep (15%) milk from domestic production of the Leon Pavan family farm from the island of Krk.
 
Cows and sheep that give milk to this cheese graze on the slopes around the historic Krk town of Vrbnik and feed exclusively on natural food. The cheese is light, can last a long time when stored properly, and can be perfectly combined with fish and Vrbnik žlahtina white wine. Krk Cheese is a autochtonous Croatian island cheese which is manufactured only on the family run farms on the island of Krk. It is recognisable for its quality and specific flavour. This is a delicacy made from natural ingredients bestowed by the sea, poor land, rocky ground and pastures covered with sea salt.
